You’ll hike another 24 kilometres through Bad Hofgastein from stages eight to ten. The trail leads past numerous Alpine pastures that invite you to stop for a bite to eat, to the mountain station of the Schlossalmbahn cable car at an altitude of 2,000 metres, and on to the scenically beautiful Gadaunerer Hochalmen Alpine pastures in the Angertal valley. On the subsequent stages, magnificent views of the Sportgastein National Park area and the sophisticated Belle Époque flair of Bad Gastein await.
