Offers and Tips for Bus Groups

Travel is a wonderful thing. New surroundings, new landscapes, new cultures. No matter whether young or old - many people do not want to miss the experiences they get while traveling. Whoever does not want to travel alone or with the family, can join one of the many options available as bus tour groups.

There is a lot to say for a trip in SalzburgerLand. The diverse landscape, the many opportunities to experience something new and of course the attractive offers.

Attractions in SalzburgerLand

In SalzburgerLand, there is a lot to see and discover. Castles & palaces, museums, natural wonders and cable cars – this diversity is hard to beat. How about the experience of a drive across the famous Großglockner High Alpine road, a trip to the medieval Castle Mauterndorf, a trip into the rural past in the Salzburg Open Air museum or a visit to the Ferdinand Porsche adventure world in Mattsee?

Tip: These attractions are all included, along with more than 190 further attractions, in the SalzburgerLand Card – the all-inclusive-card for the State of Salzburg and the City of Salzburg.

Harvest Festival

At the end of August, the summer passes almost seamlessly into the Harvest Festival. SalzburgerLand shows its most traditional side in this Golden season. In over 70 towns, the harvest time is celebrated with colourful alpine cattle driving, Harvest Festivals and farmers markets.
One of the highlights is, for example, the Lammertal Hay-Art Festival in early September with the world’s largest Hay figures.

Sample offer for bus groups:

  • Visit to the Hay-Art Festival incl. handicraft demonstrations and supporting programme
  • Harvest Festival Breakfast
  • Mountain and valley cable car ride on the Donnerkogelbahn in Annanberg

Especially, at this time of the year, traditions are important and everywhere there are Christmas markets, Carol singing and pastoral plays inviting you to experience the romantic atmosphere.
And of course, this time is also characterised by the famous Christmas Carol “Silent Night! Holy Night!”, which was premiered in Oberndorf near Salzburg.
