Thursday will soon bring thicker clouds from the west, initially it will still often be foehn-like and unusually mild in places. Very soon in the early morning, however, the cold front of ex-hurricane ?Kirk? arrives with lively west to north-westerly winds (peaks of 50 to just over 60 km/h), and more and more rain showers spread over the course of the morning. As the wind shifts to the west, it will cool down considerably in the previously foehn regions. Above all in the mountainous regions, it will rain more heavily around midday, especially in the Tauern region with the snow line still high. This will drop to just below 2000 m by the evening, but then the wind and precipitation will ease noticeably. The early values are often already the highest temperatures with 13 to 20 °C (city of Salzburg), after which the temperatures will drop significantly.

On Friday, there will often be dense clouds, but occasional sunny spells are possible. Rain showers will become noticeable during the day, with slightly drier spells in the Tauern region and in Lungau. The snow line will be between 1700 and 1900 meters. Moderate to brisk north-westerly to westerly winds (peaks 40 to 50 km/h). Early temperatures: 4 to 9 °C, maximum temperatures: 9 to 14 °C.

The forecast for Saturday is for dry and mostly sunny weather, although fog patches will often persist at the beginning. There will generally be more clouds in Lungau. During the day, more and more high cloud will move through. The wind will blow weakly to moderately from east to south. Early temperatures: 0 to 6 °C, daily highs: 12 to 17 °C.

Still somewhat uncertain, from today's perspective, a weak disturbance influence with denser clouds will set in on Sunday. Mostly dry, but isolated light showers are possible in the north. The wind will blow moderately, sometimes briskly from west to northwest (peaks of almost 50 km/h in northern Flachgau). Early temperatures: 2 to 8 °C, highs: 12 to 16 °C.
