On Wednesday, some inner Alpine valleys will initially see patches of low fog and high fog, which will dissipate during the morning. From midday onwards, it will be sunny across most areas, with some thicker cloud patches moving in during the afternoon, dampening the sunshine. Highs: 0 to 8 degrees.

On Thursday, extensive fields of medium-high clouds will prevail and the sun will not come out at first. During the course of the day, the clouds will move eastward and give way to sunshine, so that the afternoon will become increasingly pleasant from the west. Lowest temperatures: -8 to 0 degrees, highest temperatures: 0 to +7 degrees.

On Friday, apart from fog and high fog, the sun will often shine in the morning, with thicker clouds in Lungau. From midday onwards, the sun should shine widely, although a few high clouds will obscure the sunshine. Lowest temperatures: -9 to -1 degrees, highest temperatures: -1 to 5 degrees.

Saturday will bring plenty of sunshine alongside a few high clouds, with no fog or high fog. The longest period of cloudy weather will be in Lungau, where a light foehn wind will bring dust clouds from the south. Lowest temperatures: -6 to 0 degrees, highest temperatures: 1 to 5 degrees.
