Around midday and in the afternoon, weather will become drier, with temporary clearings of the clouds. Towards evening, snow will begin to fall again from the west. At times, moderate to brisk winds will pick up from the west to north-west. Low temperatures between -19 and -9 degrees C, highs will range from -6 to 0 degrees C.

On Friday, thick clouds will come in, bringing intermittent rain or snow in the morning, especially in the northern parts of the country. Freezing rain may cause black ice to form on frozen ground! In the afternoon, the clouds will break up from the west, with a few showers still possible, especially in the mountainous regions. Low temperatures between -9 and -1 degrees C, highs will range from -4 to +5 degrees C.

On Saturday morning, there will be intermittent sunshine and mostly dry conditions. Clouds will thicken around midday, with light snowfall becoming more frequent towards evening, starting in the north-west. Low tempeatures between -9 and -2 degrees C, highs will range from -4 to +2 degrees C.
