About 50km south of the Mozart City lies the idyllic Bischofshofen. This winter sports paradise has clearly earnt the right to host the Four Hills Tournament „Vierschanzentournee".

The idyllic village of Hollersbach, in the Hohe Tauern National Park, is an ideal starting point for winter sports enthusiasts with its Kitzbühel Alpine Panorama Cable Car. 170km of slopes and rustic mountain huts await in this Kitzbühel ski area.

The idyllic Pinzgau village of Bruck, with around 4,000 residents, is located in SalzburgerLand. Close by are Lake Zeller See and the Schmittenhöhe. The ski town of Kaprun with its Kitzsteinhorn Glacier Ski Area is only a few minutes away by car.

Maria Alm, with its two mountain villages of Hintermoos and Hinterthal with around 2,150 inhabitants, has retained its charming, rural character. In summer, Maria Alm is a paradise for hikers and bikers, while in winter it’s attractive thanks to the winter kingdom of 120km of connected ski slopes.

In winter, when Koppl is covered in a blanket of snow, the first cross-country skiers forge their tracks through the town centre. Visiting Koppl in the quiet time of year will get you right in the Christmas mood with a trip to the Guggenthaler Advent Church.

In winter the Ramingstein-Karneralm region invites you for pristine snow pleasure. The snowy landscape is loved by both Ski Touring fans and Snowshoeing fans. Also when visitng Ramingstein, don't pass up the chance for a romantic winter hike.
