Skiing Pleasure on and off the Slopes

In the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park lies the idyllic cultural and herb village of Hollersbach. Herb gardens, a Bee educational trail and a stream educational trail ensure eventful days in this Pinzgauer village of about 1,200 inhabitants.

The idyllic village of Hollersbach, in the Hohe Tauern National Park, is an ideal starting point for winter sports enthusiasts with its Kitzbühel Alpine Panorama Cable Car. 170km of slopes and rustic mountain huts await in this Kitzbühel ski area.

For all winter sports enthusiasts who want to head up high, Hollersbach is the ideal starting point for numerous tours. The Kitzbühel Alpine Panorama Cable Car enables a comfortable step into the Kitzbühel ski area: 215 km of slopes, many off-piste routes, the “Hanglalm” snow park and 55 different places to eat are waiting to be explored by winter sports enthusiasts.

Hikers and climbers

In summer, the Kitzbühel Alpine Panorama Cable Car takes hikers to Resterhöhe, the starting point for numerous tours with stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. A special tip is the gondola breakfast, which ensures a unique dining experience. In addition, the Hollersbach Valley with its clear mountain streams, waterfalls and lakes, beautiful farmed Alpine pastures and mountain huts will all make hikers and mountaineers hearts beat just a little faster.

Summer holiday experience

The Hollersbach leisure facility “Holl idea” provides summer water fun with a natural lake, sunbathing area, an adventure playground, beach volleyball court, Skate Park and tennis courts. The Bachlehrweg trail along the Hollersbach provides a special nature experience. Eleven informational boards along the way tell something about the nature of the stream and describe the landscape and its creatures. Whoever wants to learn more about herbs, a visit to the Hollersbacher herb garden, very near to the old cultural Klausner House, is recommended. On about 8,000m², visitors can learn about more than 500 different plants which are arranged according to their thematic areas. The experience-oriented nature trail on the Hollersbacher Sonnberg answers questions about honey bees, wild bees and other related species in an exciting and adventurous way. This trail leads from Gasthof Oberkrammern to the middle station of the Kitzbühel Alpine Panorama Cable Car.
