Sunday will bring slightly foehn-like weather. The sun will still shine frequently in the morning, but increasingly dense, high cloud fields will start to move in from the south-west. As the day progresses, the sun will therefore be increasingly obscured. A few cumulus clouds will form over the mountains, from which isolated showers and thunderstorms may develop during the afternoon, particularly in the north of the country. A moderate southerly foehn wind will pick up in some of the Tauern valleys. Morning temperatures will range between 2 and 10 degrees C, with maximum temperatures between 20 and 25 degrees C.

The weather is set to change on Monday. Ahead of a cold front, conditions will be changeable from the start, with plenty of cloud and some sunshine. It should remain mostly dry in the morning, but from midday at the latest, there will be frequent showers and thunderstorms. The westerly wind will pick up significantly from midday onwards, reaching peak speeds of around 50 km/h in the afternoon, particularly in the Flachgau region. Morning temperatures will range between 6 and 13 degrees C, with maximum temperatures of 15 to 19 degrees C already being reached by mid-morning.

On Tuesday, there will still be some rain from the night, and the snow line may briefly drop to around 800 to 1000 metres in the north of the country. It will dry up during the day, and the sun is likely to break through frequently, particularly in the afternoon. There will be a brisk westerly wind at times, with a strong northerly foehn wind picking up in the Lungau region. Morning temperatures will range between 3 and 8 degrees C, with maximum temperatures between 5 and 11 degrees C.

On Wednesday, cloudy and sunnier spells will alternate, and it should remain mostly dry. Following a fairly clear night, widespread ground frost is expected in the morning, with air frost in some areas. Early morning temperatures will range from -3 to 3 degrees C, with maximum temperatures between 12 and 16 degrees C.
