On 30 August 2026, the IRONMAN 70.3 will take place in the Zell am See-Kaprun region for the 14th time. Triathletes from all over the world will compete in swimming, cycling, and running against the unique backdrop of a crystal-clear lake, majestic mountains, and a gleaming white glacier. This diversity is especially reflected in the cycling course, which leads right through the alpine landscape and has already been voted the most beautiful IRONMAN 70.3 course in the world by athletes.
In previous IRONMAN 70.3 races, the challenge in Zell am See-Kaprun consisted of 1.9 km of swimming, 90 km of cycling, and 21.1 km of running. This adds up to a total distance of 113 kilometres (70.3 miles), from which the event takes its name. Side events such as the Night Run and the IRONKIDS competition perfectly complement the main event.
