The golfing jewel on the Saalach
Despite the alpine backdrop, the absolutely flat fairways as well as the river widenings and dams incorporated into the course are characteristic here, which make the game highly varied. The course offers spectacular views of the surrounding peaks of the Steinernes Meer Mountains.
As a perfect complement, the golf course directly at the Hotel Gut Brandlhof offers shortened tees (“Family Course”), a spacious driving range and a practice area for your short game. John Seymour, Advanced Fellow PGA Professional, offers tailor-made courses at the Gut Brandlhof Golf Club – both for beginners and semi-professionals. Except on tournament days, dogs are allowed on a leash on the golf course. For puppies, small dogs and senior dogs, there is even a converted dog e-cart with lounge equipment. The golf restaurant “einkehr” spoils you with delicious refreshments after your round of golf.
Since 2007, John Seymour has been running his Golf Academy at the Brandlhof very successfully. With the Advanced Fellow PGA award, he is one of the 50 best Pros in Europe. With easy-to-understand key training, golf lessons become a special experience for both beginners and experts.
