Also during our trip into the Route of the Gorges, together with the outdoor influencers Lisi Füssl (@lisi_fuessl) and Anna Aichholzer (@wheregoesanna), we packed only the most necessary items for a day tour. Because the lighter the backpack, the more we enjoy the adventure up hill and down dale to SalzburgerLand’s impressive gorges.
The Saalach Valley forces of nature are breathtaking experiences. This time, our tour takes us from Weißbach near Lofer to the Seisenberg Gorge natural monument. Almost 200 years ago, the Seisenberg Gorge was made accessible to visitors, and it has always been regarded as a real experience for the whole family (accessible for children of 3 years old and above when accompanied by adults). Be guided through the gorge by the “Gorge Spirit” and learn lots of exciting details about the environment here, the nature and the impressive power of the waters.
Then, the tour continues along the Weißbach towards Hintertal, past the Lohfeyer Inn. For our physical well-being, we pamper ourselves with the cuisine on the Litzalm. What could be better than enjoying a tasty snack while knowing that your luggage for the remaining days is already waiting for you in your next accommodation?
