On Wednesday, it will be hot and thundery once again. The sun will often shine in the morning, with a few patches of cloud passing through the north at times. From midday onwards, cumulus clouds will build up in the sky, particularly in the mountainous regions, giving rise to widespread showers and thunderstorms, some of which may be heavy and could also spread into the Flachgau region. Maximum temperatures: 31 to 34 degrees.

On Thursday, the first rain showers and thick clouds will begin to appear in the north as early as the night. In the Alpine regions, it will remain mostly dry with scattered clouds. By mid-morning, however, large cumulus clouds will rise into the sky, and from midday onwards there will be thunderstorms and rain showers, which will spread across the whole country as the day progresses and may become quite heavy. Lows: 13 to 21 degrees, highs: 25 to 29 degrees.

The weather will be changeable on Friday. In the morning, clouds and rain showers will move off towards the south-east, giving way to pleasant conditions with scattered clouds. From midday onwards, cumulus clouds will develop across a wide area, bringing thunderstorms, particularly in the Alpine regions, which will ease off by the evening. Lowest temperatures: 14 to 18 degrees; highest temperatures: 22 to 27 degrees.

Saturday will start with pleasant summer weather. The sun will shine for most of the morning. From midday onwards, cumulus clouds will build up and showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected in the inner Alpine regions, particularly in the Pongau and Lungau. Lowest temperatures: 12 to 16 degrees; highest temperatures: 25 to 30 degrees.
