On Wednesday, the clouds will be quite thick from the start, with hardly any sunshine. There will already be occasional rain, particularly in the Flachgau region and along the Tauern mountains. The rain will become more frequent as the day progresses and heavier in the inner Alpine regions. Initially, there will be a brisk southerly foehn wind, which will be replaced by a westerly wind as the day goes on. In the evening, the westerly wind will reach gusts of around 50 km/h. Thursday will start off overcast and wet. The snow line will be between 1,400 and 1,600 metres. In the morning, the rain showers will quickly become less frequent, though the sun will not yet make an appearance. It is not until midday that the clouds slowly drift eastwards, allowing the sun to shine more and more in the afternoon. Particularly in the Flachgau and Lungau regions, there will be brisk to strong winds from the west to north-west, although these will also ease off as the day progresses. Lowest temperatures: 3 to 7 degrees; highest temperatures: 5 to 11 degrees.

On Friday, local fog and high fog will soon clear. During the day, the sun will mostly shine, apart from a few patches of cloud. There will be a light Föhn wind, and there may be some rain in the north in the evening. Lowest temperatures: -2 to +5 degrees; highest temperatures: 8 to 16 degrees.
