Cross-country skiing improves the cardiovascular system and aerobic fitness. As you are exercising out in the fresh air, you work almost all of your muscle groups and, in the process, burn around 700 calories per hour!

With over 2,200 km of trails - groomed for both classic and skating technique - in some 100 winter sports resorts, cross-country skiers have a perfect way to explore a wintery SalzburgerLand..
