Easter Sunday will bring slightly foehn-like and mild spring weather. The sun will shine frequently, even if high clouds and some Sahara dust will dampen the sky as the day progresses. In the afternoon, a few more cumulus clouds will form over the mountains and brief showers cannot be ruled out, especially in Pinzgau and Flachgau. Along the main Alpine ridge, a lively southerly foehn will develop, which may prevail as far as the Tauern valleys. In the evening, the wind may freshen from the west in Flachgau. Early temperatures will be between 1 and 9 degrees, in foehn valleys it will already be milder. Highs will be between 19 and 24 degrees.

Easter Monday will start off fairly friendly with a few high cloud fields. As the day progresses, however, many cumulus clouds will develop, from which thundery showers may fall later, especially north of the Tauern mountains. Early temperatures will be between 4 and 10 degrees, with highs between 17 and 21 degrees.

Tuesday will see a mix of sun and clouds. Showers will fall more frequently from midday, especially in the inner Alps. Early temperatures will be between 5 and 9 degrees, with highs between 16 and 19 degrees.

There will be little change on Wednesday. There will be a mix of sun and cloud, with rain showers to be expected throughout the country from midday onwards. Early temperatures will be between 4 and 9 degrees, with highs between 15 and 19 degrees.
