On Wednesday, thick clouds will prevail, bringing rainy weather. The rain is set to become heavier in many areas, particularly in the afternoon. Isolated thunderstorms may then spread from Carinthia and East Tyrol to the Tauern and the Lungau. Winds will generally be light, becoming moderate later in the Lungau, blowing from the west to north-west. Maximum temperatures: a cool 11 to 15 °C.

Thursday often starts with thick cloud and light, scattered showers. As the morning progresses, the cloud clears a little and the sun comes out a bit more frequently, particularly in the Flachgau region. However, cumulus clouds quickly form again in the slightly unstable cold air, and from midday onwards, showers will increase again from the west. In the afternoon, there will be numerous rain showers, with brief thunderstorms also possible, particularly in the Flachgau and Tennengau regions. The weather will remain changeable on Friday, with thicker clouds and some rain moving in during the day, particularly in the north. Morning temperatures: 7 to 12 °C; maximum temperatures: 14 to 19 °C.

Saturday is also set to be showery, with thick cloud and a little sunshine; the south is likely to remain dry for longer periods. Towards the end of the day, dry weather will return to the north as well. Morning temperatures: 7 to 13 °C; maximum temperatures: 18 to 22 °C.
