The Lungau region will see the least rainfall. A moderate westerly to north-westerly wind will blow. Early morning temperatures will range between 11 and 16 degrees C, whilst maximum temperatures will be between 18 and 21 degrees C.

On Tuesday, under the influence of a temporary high-pressure system, we can expect sunny and stable late-summer weather. Patches of fog and low stratus in some Alpine valleys will clear quickly, after which the sun will mostly shine unobstructed. Morning temperatures will range between 4 and 12 degrees C, whilst maximum temperatures will be between 22 and 25 degrees C.

Wednesday will start off sunny, but as the day progresses, clouds will increasingly build up from the north-west and the first showers will develop. In the afternoon, a cold front accompanied by a strengthening westerly wind will bring rain, which will be persistent in places; there may also be brief thunderstorms at first. Morning temperatures will range between 6 and 14 degrees C, whilst maximum temperatures will be between 21 and 26 degrees C.

On Thursday, the weather is expected to be changeable and, initially, rather unsettled. The rain from overnight will move southwards during the morning; in the afternoon, the skies will clear in many places and the sun may make an appearance. Morning temperatures will range between 9 and 12 degrees C, whilst maximum temperatures will be between 14 and 19 degrees C.
