On Saturday, the sun is likely to shine frequently at first, though a few dense patches of cloud accompanied by light showers may move in from Bavaria. Cumulus clouds will soon form over the mountains, frequently blocking out the sunshine. From midday onwards, showers and thunderstorms are expected, particularly in the mountainous regions. By late afternoon, the showers will have eased off and the sun will make more frequent appearances from the west. Morning temperatures will range between 3 and 10 degrees, with maximum temperatures between 18 and 23 degrees.

Sunday will bring slightly foehn-like weather. The sun will still shine frequently in the morning, but increasingly dense, high cloud fields will start to move in from the south-west. As the day progresses, the sun will therefore be increasingly obscured. In the border region with Bavaria, showers and thunderstorms cannot be entirely ruled out in the late afternoon. A moderate southerly foehn wind will pick up in some Alpine valleys. Morning temperatures will range between 3 and 9 degrees, with maximum temperatures between 19 and 25 degrees.

The weather is set to change on Monday. Ahead of a cold front, conditions will be changeable from the start, with a mix of sun and clouds, and the first showers are possible in the north of the country. As the westerly wind picks up, heavy showers and thunderstorms will soon develop in many areas, and later in the day there may be prolonged periods of rain. The westerly wind will reach speeds of up to 50 km/h in the afternoon, particularly in the Flachgau region. Morning temperatures will range between 6 and 12 degrees, with maximum temperatures of 15 to 20 degrees already being reached by mid-morning.

On Tuesday, rain will continue along the northern side of the Alps into the morning, with the snow line likely to drop to around 800 m. In the mountainous regions, it is already mostly dry. As the day progresses, a mix of sun and clouds will prevail, with conditions in the north clearing up later. Cool air will be brought in by a north-westerly wind, which will be brisk at times. Morning temperatures will range between 4 and 7 degrees, with maximum temperatures between 7 and 12 degrees.
