Plenty of sunshine is forecast for Thursday. However, fog will persist until mid-morning in the Saalfelden Basin, around Lake Zell and in parts of the inner Alps in the Salzach Valley. Patches of fog may also remain until midday in northern Flachgau and in and around the provincial capital. After that, however, the sun should appear everywhere, with a few harmless high clouds appearing during the day. The wind will continue to be light. Maximum temperatures: 6 to 11 °C in the inner Alps and up to 15 °Cin the city of Salzburg and locally in Tennengau.

There will be little change in the weather on Friday: another very sunny day is forecast, with local patches of fog in inner Alpine valleys and locally in northern Flachgau clearing soon. Early temperatures: -6 to 2 °C, maximum temperatures: mild 9 to 17 °C.

From today's perspective, Saturday will bring more sunny weather with only a little fog in the morning. In the afternoon, a few more high clouds will appear. Lowest temperatures: -5 to 3 °C, highest temperatures: 9 to 16 °C.

Sunday is looking a bit uncertain. From today's perspective, thicker clouds with a few light showers are expected in the north, especially in the morning. Later on, the sun will come out more often. Early temperatures: -3 to 4 °C, highs: 8 to 12 °C.
