On Tuesday, there will still be frequent cloud cover at first, but the sun will soon break through. In the course of the afternoon, cloud cover will increase again from the west, with isolated rain showers in the northern Alps and locally in the Tauern mountains in the evening. The wind will be light to moderate from the east to south, and brisk in some Tauern valleys. Early temperatures: 1 to 10 °C, maximum temperatures: 12 to 18 °C.

Wednesday will again bring frequent cloud cover with some sunshine in between, especially around midday. Precipitation is unlikely, with more cloud cover generally persisting over the main Alpine ridge and in the Lungau region. The foehn wind will weaken somewhat. Early temperatures: 1 to 8 °C, maximum temperatures: 12 to 17 °C.

On Thursday, there will still be plenty of sunshine in the morning, but clouds will soon roll in. A brisk to strong southerly foehn wind will blow, especially in the Tauern mountains. In the late afternoon, a cold front will bring numerous rain showers, accompanied by brisk to strong north-westerly to westerly winds. Lowest temperatures: 2 to 10 °C, highest temperatures: 14 to 18 °C.
