Monday will again often bring dense cloud and light snowfall, with rain or sleet to be expected below 500 metres in Flachgau and parts of Tennengau. Dry spells will become more frequent towards midday, and in the mountains it will only snow sporadically and unproductively. However, sunshine is hardly to be expected. A few snowflakes will appear in the far north from the evening hours. The wind will be mostly light. Maximum daily temperatures: -1 to 2 °C.

On Tuesday, the Flachgau and parts of the Tennengau will often be covered in thick high fog, but it will mostly remain dry. Further south, the sun will often shine in the mountains, but individual residual clouds or patches of fog will persist in the valleys into the morning. There will also be more cloud in Lungau at first. Lows: -8 to 0 °C, highs: -1 to 4 °C.

Dense clouds will follow again on Wednesday, with a few patches of fog in the inner Alps. During the day, there may be a little more sunshine, especially in Pinzgau and Pongau. Mostly dry, with occasional raindrops in the north in the morning (snow line around 500 metres). Minimum temperatures: -11 to 1 °C, maximum temperatures: -1 to 3 °C.

Thursday will start often sunny with localised patches of early morning fog in inner Alpine valleys. During the day, however, mostly sunny weather will prevail. Early temperatures: -12 to 0 °C, highs: -2 to 3 °C.
