Tuesday will start with a few more clouds, but these will soon clear. The sun will then often come out, but cloud cover will soon increase again in Lungau and on the main Alpine ridge. Light rain is possible here in the afternoon, but otherwise it will remain dry. In the evening, more clouds will roll in again in Pinzgau, followed by light rain showers. The wind will be mostly light, with moderate southerly winds in the Tauern mountains. Highs: 11 to 18 °C.

On Wednesday, there will often be some higher cloud cover, but occasional sunny spells are possible throughout the morning. It will remain dry for the time being, but light rain is possible in the afternoon in Mitterpinzgau, Flachgau and Tennengau. The wind will be mostly light. Early temperatures: 3 to 9 °C, maximum temperatures: 12 to 17 °C.

Cold front passing through, preceded by strong foehn winds: Thursday will start off mostly sunny, but high clouds will soon move in. Initially, there will be no precipitation, and strong to stormy southerly foehn winds will pick up in the Tauern valleys in the morning (peaking at 60 to just over 80 km/h). In the late afternoon and evening, a cold front will move in quickly from the west, bringing numerous rain showers and a marked increase in westerly winds. From today's perspective, short-term gusts of 70 to 80 km/h are to be expected, with speeds of just under 90 km/h in the northern Flachgau region. Friday will bring a changeable mix of sunshine, thick clouds and rain showers, with snow falling above 1,400 metres. It will also be quite windy, especially in northern Flachgau. Early temperatures: 1 to 7 °C, maximum temperatures: 8 to 12 °C.
