On Wednesday, local morning mist will soon clear, giving way to very sunny weather everywhere. A few thin, high cloud patches will move in during the afternoon. Winds will be mostly light, though there will be moderate north-westerly winds at times in the Lungau region. Maximum temperatures: 15 to 19 °C.

On Thursday, thick clouds will soon roll in from the north-west, with the first rain showers possible as early as late morning in the Flachgau. Until midday, it will remain fairly sunny in the Pinzgau, Pongau and Lungau. However, as a cold front moves in, rain showers will become increasingly widespread, and isolated thunderstorms are also possible in the afternoon. Moderate to brisk winds will blow from the west to north-west. As the cold front passes through, there will be brief gusts of wind reaching 50 to 60 km/h. Early morning temperatures: 0 to 8 °C. Maximum temperatures around midday will be 14 to 18 °C, followed by a drop in temperature.

On Friday, there will often be some lingering cloud at the start of the day, with patches of fog in the Alpine valleys, particularly in low-lying areas. It will remain mostly dry, and the sun will often break through as the day progresses.
