Remnant clouds and patches of fog from the night will initially linger into the morning, or will soon give way to cumulus clouds. The first light local showers are expected across many areas as early as the morning. From midday onwards, thunderstorms are expected to occur repeatedly, particularly in the inner Alps. These may at times be quite heavy again. The sun will shine intermittently throughout the day. A moderate to brisk westerly wind will be blowing. Maximum temperatures: 22 to 27 degrees.

On Sunday, the sun will still be out in the morning, but the first cumulus clouds will soon begin to form. Then, around midday, a cold front from the north-west will bring frequent rain and localised thunderstorms. Towards the evening, the skies will clear again from the north. The wind will be brisk from north-westerly directions, and strong in the Flachgau region as the front arrives. It will be cooler than it has been recently. Lows: 10 to 16 degrees, highs: 17 to 22 degrees.

Monday is likely to bring mainly fine but not entirely stable weather. The sun will often shine, before cumulus clouds start to build up from midday onwards, leading to localised showers. In the Flachgau region, it is likely to remain mainly dry. A moderate north-westerly wind will be blowing. Lowest temperatures: 6 to 12 degrees; highest temperatures: 20 to 23 degrees.

On Tuesday, there will be a mix of sun and clouds, but showers are likely to increase as the day progresses, particularly along the Tauern. It is expected to remain dry in the Flachgau. The wind will be moderate to brisk, blowing from the north-west. Lowest temperatures: 8 to 12 degrees; highest temperatures: 17 to 22 degrees.
