On Tuesday, thick cloud will prevail across much of the country, with occasional rain showers, which will be more frequent, particularly in the northern parts of the country. As the day progresses, the rain showers will become more frequent everywhere and will also be somewhat heavier along the northern side of the Alps. There will be hardly any sunshine. The wind will be mostly light to moderate, blowing from the west to the north. Maximum daytime temperatures: 16 to 20 °C.

Wednesday will start with a few lingering clouds, with the last light showers still affecting the Flachgau and Tennengau regions during the morning. However, the skies will soon clear, the sun will make more frequent appearances and it will remain dry throughout the day. Cumulus clouds will soon form in the mountainous regions, whilst more sunshine is expected in the Flachgau. The wind will generally be light. Morning temperatures: 11 to 16 °C; maximum temperatures: 25 to 29 °C.

There will already be considerable uncertainty on Thursday: in the morning, there may be some lingering clouds and isolated showers, but a light Föhn wind will soon bring dry weather and sunshine. As the day progresses, more high cloud cover will move in; in the late afternoon and evening, the risk of showers and thunderstorms will increase again. Morning temperatures will range between 13 and 18 °C, depending on residual cloud cover, with maximum temperatures between 23 and 27 °C.

On Friday, thick clouds bringing showers will soon spread across the region, with thunderstorms also developing in the mountains. Morning temperatures: 13 to 17 °C; maximum temperatures: 21 to 24 °C.
