The very mild autumn weather will continue on Friday. Local early morning fog will soon dissipate and the sun will shine. However, thin high clouds and Saharan dust will cause the sky to appear milky. During the day, there will be a slight foehn wind, especially along the Tauern mountains. Early morning temperatures will range between -6 and 6 degrees, with significantly milder temperatures at higher altitudes. Depending on sunshine and wind, maximum temperatures will reach 8 to 19 degrees, with the warmest temperatures in sunny locations in the Flachgau and Tennengau regions.

On Saturday, there will be a mix of sun and clouds, with longer sunny spells in the inner Alps. In Lungau, there will be some low, high fog-like cloud cover. A light southerly foehn wind will blow along the Tauern mountains. It will not be quite as mild as on previous days. Early morning temperatures will range between -3 and 7 degrees, with highs between 7 and 13 degrees.
