Today will be mostly sunny and hot once again. In the early morning, local patches of low fog will clear quickly, and by mid-morning the sun will often shine unobstructed. In the afternoon, a few cumulus clouds will form, particularly in the inner Alpine regions, but in many places it will remain dry until the evening, although isolated showers in the mountains cannot be ruled out. A moderate southerly wind will be noticeable along the Tauern. Maximum temperatures: 27 to 33 degrees.

On Wednesday, the sun is set to shine intermittently amongst a few clouds to begin with. From midday onwards, the clouds will become increasingly dense and frequent rain showers will pass through. Isolated thunderstorms are also possible, particularly in the mountainous regions. Overall, the northern Flachgau will see the least rainfall, whilst in the inner Alpine regions, locally heavier amounts of rain are expected. Drier weather will not set in until the evening. In the morning, temperatures will range from 10 to 18 degrees; at midday, they will reach 19 to 23 degrees, before cooling off in the afternoon.

On Thursday, the clouds will clear as the day goes on, allowing the sun to shine at times. In the morning, it will still be mostly overcast, but there will be no more rain. From midday onwards, the clouds will thin out a little, particularly in the north, making way for the sun. Isolated rain showers are possible, particularly in the Lungau region, but it will remain mostly dry. Lows: 10 to 13 degrees, highs: 15 to 20 degrees.

There is still some uncertainty in the forecast for Friday. However, the weather is likely to be changeable, with heavier showers expected as the day progresses. The sun is unlikely to make much of an appearance. Lows: 9 to 12 degrees, highs: 16 to 19 degrees.
