Foehn conditions will become increasingly pronounced, with the southerly wind reaching gusts of around 40 km/h in places. High temperatures will range from 23 to 30 degrees C.

On Monday, there will be temporary sunshine, but thicker patches of high clouds will drift in from the west as the day progresses. Weather will remain mostly dry. A brisk southerly foehn wind, with gusts of around 40 km/h, will sweep through some valleys during the day. Low temperatures between 1 and 12 degrees C, highs will range from 22 to 28 degrees C.

On Tuesday, the sun will shine at times amid variable cloud cover. The thickest clouds will build up from the south along the main Tauern ridge, where there may be light rain in places this afternoon. Towards the evening, isolated showers, some of which may be accompanied by thunderstorms, are possible along the northern edge of the Alps. In the foehn regions, a fairly brisk southerly wind will blow. Low temperatures between 5 and 13 degrees C, highs will range from 18 to 25 degrees C.

On Wednesday, the sunshine during the day will give way to more clouds, with showers and thunderstorms becoming more frequent in many parts of the country during the afternoon and evening. In the mountainous regions, there will be a brisk southerly wind in places. Low temperatures between 5 and 11 degrees C, highs will range from 16 to 21 degrees C.
