Wednesday will start with some very thick clouds, but it will remain mostly dry, with isolated showers possible in the north in the morning. From midday onwards, the clouds will clear and the sun will shine more frequently. In the afternoon, there will often be sunshine alongside some cumulus clouds in the mountains and also some more extensive medium-high clouds and some Saharan dust in the air. In the southwest, there may be some thunderstorms towards the evening, but it will remain dry for the most part. In the classic Föhn valleys, a southerly Föhn wind will become noticeable towards the evening. Maximum temperatures: 24 to 27 degrees.

Thursday will bring increasing foehn winds and mostly dry weather until the afternoon. There will be a mix of sunshine and thicker cloud cover, especially in the afternoon, with some Saharan dust still in the air. The risk of showers and thunderstorms will increase, especially in Pinzgau, but it will remain dry in many places. Later in the evening, thunderstorms will spread. In the inner Alps, there will be brisk to strong southerly winds, which may reach storm-force gusts in the classic Föhn valleys. Early temperatures: 11 to 17 degrees, maximum daily temperatures: 22 to 27 degrees.

On Friday, the weather will be quite unsettled and changeable under the influence of a cold front. There will still be a slight foehn wind and a mix of sun, clouds and a few rain showers. In the afternoon, it will be sunny at times, but in the Lungau region the clouds will be thicker and there may be some heavy rain. Lowest temperatures: 12 to 16 degrees, highest temperatures: 18 to 22 degrees.

On Saturday, it will be increasingly pleasant, but the air will be very unstable, which means that local rain showers are possible even early in the morning. The afternoon will bring more stable conditions, but rain showers are still to be expected in the mountains. A moderate westerly wind will pick up in the Flachgau region. Lowest temperatures: 10 to 14 degrees, highest temperatures: 17 to 21 degrees.
