Tip 1: XXL camping<\/span> spaces at Grubhof<\/h3>\n

The 4-star area in St. Martin near Lofer<\/span><\/a> boasts huge campervan spaces. Guests can get comfortable on 120 to 180 m2 lots and really stretch out. The idyllic location in an old park with an unobstructed view of the surrounding mountains adds to the wonderful atmosphere in which you can fully relax. Space allocation is also made with the view that neighbours will be compatible. There are areas for families<\/span>, couples without children or dog owners. Its proximity to the Saalach<\/span> river means that the place is popular<\/span> with whitewater athletes. Incidentally, the XXL spaces are also available for tents<\/span>. On the Saalach grassland, exclusively sunny places on lush, soft grass ground are let to campers with tents<\/span>, tent<\/span> trailers or minibuses.<\/p>\n

Tipp 2: Camping<\/span> at the Kapellen-Weg trail<\/span> in Neukirchen<\/h3>\n

The 9-Kappellen-Weg (\u20189 chapel trail<\/span>\u2019) leads directly past the Panoramastellplatz <\/a>campsite at Friedburg in Neukirchen<\/span> at Grossvenediger mountain. And not without reason, as the site manager Norbert Unterassner was instrumental is bringing this unique trail<\/span> to life. In addition to the beautiful countryside along this trail<\/span>, the enchanting chapels lining it are well worth a visit. The trail<\/span> stretching over 17 km can be hiked in 4 to 4 and a half hours, either in one go or in a few stages. The location in Hohe Tauern National Park<\/span> makes the campsite<\/span> an ideal starting point for hiking<\/span>, mountain biking and cycling<\/span> tours, and also all sorts of winter activities.<\/p>\n

Tipp 3: Forest camping<\/span> in Tamsweg<\/h3>\n

When the wind gently blows through the branches of tall trees and the water<\/span> of the Taurach river happily splashes on stones, you can only be in one place: the Waldcamping campground in Tamsweg<\/span><\/a>. It\u2019s not just the idyllic forest, but especially the Taurach river that makes this place so special. The river<\/span> is particularly popular<\/span> with paddlers \u2013 from beginners to professionals \u2013 who enjoy the Taurach river from April to September, exactly during the best months for camping<\/span>. Another sport<\/span> is in high demand at Waldcamping Tamsweg: the riding school Mehlhartlgut is also part of the family business.<\/p>\n

Tipp 4: Camping<\/span> with dogs<\/h3>\n

Dog owners know the problem! What to do with our four-legged friends when it comes to holidays? Luckily, there are many campsites<\/span> that allow pets and are equipped accordingly. The campsite Panorama Camp Zell am See is ideal in this respect. Just 500 metres from the campsite<\/span> and only a few minutes\u2019 walk on the path around the lake<\/span>, the 2,000 m2 large dog training zone allows plenty of space for fun and games with them. In the overflow area of Lake Zellersee, dogs can even enjoy bathing and splashing about. Good to know: dog bags are available for free at the dog station at Panorama Camp<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Tipp 5: Permanent campers<\/h3>\n

Once you\u2019ve found your true holiday paradise, just when you\u2019ve made yourself at home \u2013 all cosy and exactly to your liking \u2013 it can be quite tedious to dismantle your camp and tents<\/span> year after year to return home. So why not make a permanent holiday home? People who have plenty of time and no strict ties, such as pensioners for example, can truly enjoy a permanent campsite<\/span>. Perhaps at Seecamping at Wallersee lake<\/span><\/a>? It\u2019s nestled in the gentle landscape of the Salzburg Lake District with direct access to the lake<\/span> at the natural beach.
