Images of the lush green Alpine pastures will spring to mind when nibbling on a delicious chunk of cheese or a slice of smoked venison sausage with farmhouse bread and butter, accompanied by a glass of schnapps. In SalzburgerLand you will find a whole array of culinary delicacies, all made with the freshest ingredients.<\/p>\n<p>For those with a sweet tooth, a visit to the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.confiserie-berger.at\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Berger confiserie<\/a> in Lofer is recommended, as well to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.konditoreipletzer.at\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">confectioner Erich Pletzer<\/a> in Mittersill, whose chocolates are made to resemble the summits of the Tauern mountains and filled with local ingredients such as cranberries. For a real treat visit the delicatessen of Franz Lechner in Salzburg. Under the name \u201cNur! Gutes\u201d, he sells the most delicious specialties of the region and has of course sampled them all and is able to recommend a tit-bit for every palate.
