SALZBURGER ALMEN-TOUR<\/h2>\n

The Salzburger Almen-Tour<\/a> is one of the highlights of the region. Here, you can discover over 30 alpine pastures from the saddle, completing magnificent tours between Annaberg, Wolfgangsee, St. Koloman, and Voglau. It\u2019s a delightful 3-day tour that\u2019s not only exciting from a sports perspective but also very interesting in terms of cuisine.<\/p>\n

Starting in Annaberg in the Lammertal Valley, this adventure covers a total of 143 kilometers and 4,070 meters in altitude, spread over three days. You\u2019ll journey to the Bergalm and Zw\u00f6lferhorn, Wolfgangsee, Postalm, and Edtalm. For culinary enthusiasts, these three days are ideal, as you can indulge in locally produced products and regional delicacies at the alpine pastures. For those with a sporting ambition, the route can also be completed in two days.<\/p>\n

The route consists of 55% forest roads, 40% asphalt, and 5% trails. The ideal time to embark on this journey is spring and autumn.<\/p>\n

GRAVEL TOUR TO THE SEEWALDSEE<\/h2>\n

Start in Kuchl, reachable via S3 from Salzburg, and discover hidden gems of the Salzach Valley on this bike tour. The route<\/a> takes you through Jadorf and quiet roads to Georgenberg, before heading to Stallerhof and Gasthof Bachrain. A highlight is the ride along Weitenaustra\u00dfe through picturesque mountain landscapes to Seewaldsee, a real hidden gem with breathtaking views. Exercise caution at a gate shortly before the lake. At Seewaldsee, Auerh\u00fctte offers local specialties. The tour ends with a ride back to Kuchl, passing by the Roman bridge and natural pools of the Taugl. A compact yet adventurous route that combines nature, culture, and culinary delights.<\/p>\n

PANORAMA GRAVEL TOUR INTO LAMMERTAL<\/h2>\n

This challenging tour<\/a> starts from Golling, accessible by S3 regional train from Salzburg, covering 43 kilometers through the picturesque Salzach Valley. The tour starts directly at the train station, eliminating the need for parking and allowing for exploration of the historic Golling Castle. We then follow the cycle path south out of town, past the roundabout, directly to the Lammer River, where a gravel bike path leads deep into the Lammertal Valley. Accompanied by the impressive Tennengebirge, the route transitions from a bike path to a steep forest road through dense forest, past Klausgraben, to a thrilling descent to Abtenau.<\/p>\n

In Abtenau, there\u2019s an opportunity for refreshment or accommodation before the tour continues along the Lammer and then uphill through the Weitenau, with breathtaking views of the Tennengebirge. A short gravel ascent leads to Bachrain, ideal for a break, before returning to Golling on a mix of gravel and asphalt. A perfect tour for an unforgettable nature experience and a sporting challenge, lasting about 3:45 hours.<\/p>\n\"a\n

GRAVEL LAMMERTAL ACHTER<\/h2>\n

The starting point for this bike tour<\/a> in H\u00fcttau can be reached by car or train. This challenging route begins with a moderate ascent and a short descent to Lung\u00f6tz, along a bike path with impressive panoramas. Continuing from the source valley of the Lammer, a small asphalt road leads towards the Tennengebirge. A gravel road ascends past cattle gates and switchbacks, offering views of the Tennengebirge. After reaching the highest point, a winding descent and switch to asphalt roads lead back into the valley.<\/p>\n

A second panoramic loop begins along the road through the valley, with a short stretch without a bike path between St. Martin and Lung\u00f6tz. The route descends slightly to Annaberg, with dining options before the next ascent, passing Gosaukamm and Donnerkogelbahn. With views of Bischofsm\u00fctze, the route ascends on a small asphalt road then on gravel through the forest. Until it flattens and leads to Lung\u00f6tz.
