This unspoilt little part of the world can grow at its own pace. It is monitored by National Park Rangers who, if need be, intervene very gently. The blogger group wanders past ancient pools, lush green meadows and fragrant moss. #5 Experience history up close in the Rauriser Tauern House<\/h2>\n

At the end of the picturesque Seidlwinkl Valley, and far away from the hustle and bustle and mobile phone reception, is the historic Rauriser Tauern House<\/a>. This building has stood since the 15th century and is almost completely independent of electricity and running water. But don\u2019t worry, because the lively landlady here cooks on the fire stove delicacies such as Kasnockn, Pinzgauer meat doughnuts, cheese dumplings, homemade Schnapps and more for her guests. What is also fascinating is the furniture in the warm parlour, on which people have been immortalised over the last centuries. The oldest date the bloggers find dates back to 1625.<\/p>\n

#6 See birds of prey up close<\/h2>\n

With the Rauriser Hochalm cable car, the bloggers head to the middle station, where they grab prospecting pans and try their luck at gold prospecting<\/a>. And behold, a small yield appears for everyone. Afterwards, they head up one station higher to the Hochalm, where you can already hear the calls of the birds of prey. Here, an impressive birds of prey show<\/a> will take place shortly, in which the birds fly really close to you during one part. A white owl, a falcon and a golden eagle, the king of the mountains, can be admired here live and in full colour.<\/p>\n

#7 Explore the Wildkogel Arena<\/h2>\n

Long-distance hiking, mountain cart riding, having fun on the forest slide path. The Wildkogel Arena<\/a> in Neukirchen and Bramberg not only offers a lot of leisure activities, but also takes the bloggers a big step closer to their goal \u2013 the Gro\u00dfvenediger is within sight. But beforehand, the Wildkogel Arena is explored and the fresh mountain air is enjoyed. It\u2019s not just hikers who can let off steam here, as some bike trails also provide moments of happiness on two wheels. This is a great place to stay!<\/p>\n

#8 Collect altitude metres in the picturesque Obersulzbach Valley<\/h2>\n

Across the Obersulzbach Valley, where green alpine pastures, rushing streams and majestic mountain peaks compete for the title of the most beautiful natural spectacle, the path also leads to the highest peak in the state of Salzburg, the Gro\u00dfvenediger. The bloggers cover about 600 metres of altitude across the valley, where an impressive 3,000-metre peak sits majestically next to them. The first stage is complete and the accommodation for tonight, the K\u00fcrsinger Hut<\/a> at 2,558 metres, is reached. This is also the starting point tomorrow for the last few metres to the summit of the Gro\u00dfvenediger.<\/p>\n

#9 Climbing a 3,000 metre peak<\/h2>\n

The Hohe Tauern National Park holiday region offers many glaciers and 3,000 metre peaks which are perfect for that special kind of summit victory. The Gro\u00dfe Geiger, the Kleinvenediger, the Maurerkeesk\u00f6pfe and of course, the Gro\u00dfvenediger are all just some examples. A tour of such a big mountain requires at least a certain level of experience in the mountains, a head for heights and sure-footedness. Equipped with headlamps, crampons and climbing harnesses, the blogger group starts in the early morning hours in the direction of the Gro\u00dfvenediger. Under the guidance of a mountain guide, the rope team heads up past crevasses, through the snow and into icy cold winds. About 4.5 hours later, amid feelings of pure happiness, their goal is reached!<\/p>\n
