Skiing, wading through powder, speed challenges, sound experiments and also tasty regional delicacies for the break in between. Wow, this was a skiing day in the winter paradise of Zell am See Kaprun<\/a>. But let\u2019s take it one step at a time, so that we don\u2019t forget any of the highlights<\/a> that we experienced together with the outdoor influencers Branko Rohal, Christoph Oberschneider, Mario Mitteregger, Dominik Munich, Katharina Wildenhof and Philipp Freund.<\/p>\n

The atmosphere was great once again!<\/p><\/div>\n

K-onnection Cup<\/h2>\n

Challenge accepted! We downloaded the Skiline.cc app<\/a>, registered on it, entered our ski pass number and we were ready to start and tackle the K-onnection Cup<\/a> on the Kitzsteinhorn and Maiskogel. Perfect for altitude metre collectors and speed checkers. A total of 7 \u00a0challenges<\/a> are on the program:<\/p>\n

  2. Ride with the new 3K K-ONNECTION cable car<\/li>\n
  3. Personal video of the giant slalom at the Kitzlifte Skimovie<\/li>\n

  5. Collect 5,000 metres of altitude pm the Kitzsteinhorn and\/or Maiskogel in 1 day<\/li>\n
  6. TOP OF SALZBURG 3,029 mpanorama platform<\/li>\n
  7. 3 Kitzsteinhorn ski days\u00a0in the season<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Speedcheck for the K-onnection Cup<\/p><\/div>\n

    Those who successfully complete 4 of the\u00a07 challenges have the chance to win fabulous prizes such as day ski passes or even a ski weekend for 2. So it would have been laughable if we had just left these chances sitting in the snow. And of course we also tried the contrasting program to slope riding, as the Kitzsteinhorn is a true Freeride paradise<\/a>. We carved our marks in the fresh powder and simply enjoyed leaving our tracks in deep snow on the well signposted routes.<\/p>\n

    Tasty regional cuisine<\/h2>\n

    Many kilometres of slope and powder descents made our stomachs growl. And before we continued, we went to the sunny plateau on the Alpincenter at 2,450 metres. Here, you can simply linger and dine wonderfully. In the restaurant Gletscherm\u00fchle<\/a>, food is freshly cooked and value is placed on regionality and quality. We jumped at the chance to recharge our batteries for the rest of the day. With Pinzgauer Kasnockn in the pan covered in cheese from the region, ribs, schnitzel, the legendary Gletscherm\u00fchlen Gr\u00f6stl and of course a classic Austrian pastry dessert. And then we stayed seated a little longer to enjoy the breathtaking panorama from the wind-protected terrace.<\/p>\n

    What does ice actually sound like?<\/h2>\n

    After a few descents, the ICE CAMP\u00a0 presented by Audi<\/a> on the Kitzsteinhorn was a fixed point on our schedule. In cool igloos at 2,600 metres above sea level, we marvelled at the artworks by Max Seibald made of ice and snow, and of course made the \u201cice-symphony\u201d sound. As a reward, in the Ice Bar we each drank a shot from the Siegfried Herzog distillery<\/a> in Saalfelden.<\/p>\n
