We caught exactly one such perfect morning on the third stop of our #5weeks5peaks Challenge. And so we took the opportunity to carve our tracks on the Freeride slopes of Sportgastein together with the outdoor influencers @<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/florian.ganser\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">florian.ganser<\/a>, @<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/shazza_m\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">shazza_m<\/a>, @<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/kuscheiart\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">kuscheiart<\/a>, @<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/c.oberschneider\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">c.oberschneider<\/a>, @<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/kleinerriese\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">kleinerriese<\/a>, @<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/patrese\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">patrese<\/a> and @<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/katharinawildenhof\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">katharinawildenhof<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>First breakfast, then Freeride fun<\/h2>\n<p>But before we ventured out into the powder with our deep-snow professionals from the <a href=\"https:\/\/freeride-gastein.com\/en\/index.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ski school Freeride Gastein<\/a>, we had to go up a bit after getting off at the mountain station of the Goldbergbahn. We went uphill to the summit cross of the Kreuzkogel at 2,688 m, where you can enjoy an incredible view in good weather conditions. By now we absolutely deserved a breakfast, and after the joint summit victory we visited the glass-aluminium dome of architect Gerhard Gastenauer, where a wonderful <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skigastein.com\/en\/winter\/sportgastein\/alpine-peak-and-gourmet-breakfast\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">breakfast was served<\/a> with numerous regional delicacies. A must for every taste lover!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gourmet breakfast and summit victory in Sportgastein<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Date: Wednesdays<\/li>\n<li>Meeting point: 08:00 a.m. Cashdesk of the Goldbergbahn valley station<\/li>\n<li>Ascent: 08:15<\/li>\n<li>Standard price: \u20ac 52 | with Gastein Card: \u20ac 49 per person<\/li>\n<li>Registration the day before until 16:00 at the Bad Gastein Tourist Board (the gourmet breakfast takes place from 6 people)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>No risk, lots of fun!<\/h2>\n<p>Before we finally jumped onto the deep-snow slopes, with our two <a href=\"https:\/\/freeride-gastein.com\/en\/index.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">freeride guides<\/a> we went through all the important details that you have to consider before a trip on the powder, such as beeps, probe and shovel. Because without an equipment check, nothing is possible here. The anticipation for the deep-snow routes, which were freshly \u201csugared\u201d overnight, was huge and it definitely paid off to come to Sportgastein. Our Tip \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skigastein.com\/en\/winter\/sportgastein\/freeride\/ski-routes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201cGolden Powder\u201d, \u201cGolden Rush\u201d and \u201cGolden Ride\u201d<\/a> are really cool Freeride ski routes where you can discover the Gastein Valley also off piste. After a lot of powder fun you will be able to return directly down to the valley of Sportgastein.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, we tried all the ski routes and can confirm to you that they are truly wonderful deep-snow slopes, which are simply fun from the very first to the very last swing.
