What apllies after the lockdown!<\/h2>\n

A\u201d2G-Proof\u201d must be presented for visiting gastronomy establishments. More detailed regulations for gastronomy and lots of other useful information can be found on \u00d6sterreich.gv.at<\/a> as well as on safe Gastfreundschaft.at<\/a> websites.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

What precautions have restaurants in SalzburgerLand taken?<\/h2>\n

Our guests can be sure that a safe and happy holiday is our ultimate goal, on which we are working together in SalzburgerLand.<\/p>\n

The Covid-Board SalzburgerLand<\/strong>, which includes experts from the relevant fields of tourism, health, public authorities and politics have created measures and recommendations for the gastronomy industry for the prevention of Covid-19.<\/p>\n

What rules must I follow?<\/h2>\n

A \u00a0proof that one is vaccinated or recovered must be presented on a mandatory basis. Please note that since 8th November, rapid antigen tests or PCR tests are no longer accepted<\/strong> as proof of admission. The 2G rule applies.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Food service establishments are still required to collect contact information from visitors who spend more than 15 minutes at the location in question. In indoor and outdoor areas, there are no longer any restrictions on person numbers until further notice.<\/p>\n

What applies to children and young people?<\/h3>\n

Children up to the age of 12 are exempt from the G detection requirement and therefore do not have to show a test result. For children and young people between the ages of 13 and 15 (compulsory school age), the following applies: The Ninja Pass issued at Austrian schools is equivalent to a 2-G certificate and is therefore also valid as proof of admission to restaurants, cinemas or hotels. After completion of the ninth school year, young people must also have a 2-G proof in order to be allowed to enter 2-G areas.<\/p>\n

Where can food be consumed? Are self-service areas or buffets allowed?<\/h2>\n

Food and drinks are served indoors only at the seating.<\/p>\n

Self-service is permitted<\/strong> if special hygienic precautions<\/strong> minimise the risk of infection. This can include, among other things:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Removal with single-use gloves<\/li>\n
  • Cleaning the hands at a disinfectant dispenser directly in front of the buffet station<\/li>\n
  • Disposable cutlery<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    What measures are implemented to protect guests?<\/h2>\n

    In all restaurants and huts, attention is paid to the legally prescribed table distances or separating devices (e.g. glass panels) being installed. For all employees a 3 G proof is compulsory.\u00a0This is mandatory and a matter of course for our hosts and service staff.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    For establishments, a mandatory prevention\/hygiene concept is also required and there must be a COVID 19 officer. As you can see, we do everything humanly possible for your safety!<\/p>\n

    Are employees in tourism companies regularly tested?<\/h2>\n

    For several months now, Austria has been offering a test setup called \u201cSafe Hospitality\u201d, in which employees of hotel and gastronomy companies<\/strong> can be tested voluntarily once a week.<\/p>\n

    Tourism companies can display their participation in the weekly Covid tests to their guests with the official \u201cSafe Hospitality\u201d badge.<\/p>\n
