\u201cIt was totally exciting to learn more about the staple foodstuff which we just take for granted\u201d, says the impressed blogger. And Christina<\/strong><\/a> herself is just as impressive as her bread. The blogging power woman manages a farm, holiday apartments, family and online career all under one hat.<\/p>\n

And as if that were not enough, Christina also gives baking courses in her own studio. They are so popular that for the current year, unfortunately there are no more places available \u2013 no wonder. In addition, her first cookbook \u201cBaking with Christina\u201c is already published in its third edition.<\/p>\n

In the course of her career, Christina has collected many useful experiences and passed some of them on to Maddie<\/strong><\/a>. For example, how to make a button bread roll that looks like it\u2019s from the baker. Or what you have to do, so that your dough is really nice and fluffy. It was also interesting for Maddie to find out where the ingredients for Christina\u2019s baking come from. \u201cFrom the local mill, where grain from the region is processed into flour,\u201d explains Christina. \u201cWe are really lucky that we have all the ingredients locally. Not everyone has that.\u201d<\/p>\n

The perfect accompaniment<\/h2>\n

The bread rolls are braided and in the oven. There\u2019s still just a little time to learn about Christina\u2019s story. She actually wanted to simply start baking and searched for recipes. Recipes that worked well have been posted on the blog. Meanwhile, many baking enthusiasts travel from throughout SalzburgerLand to Lungau to benefit from Christina\u2019s knowledge. \u201cI also don\u2019t know how it has become so big; it just simply happened,\u201d\u00a0laughs Christina.<\/p>\n

Recipe: Christina\u2019s first bread<\/h2>\n

Ingredients:<\/strong>
\n*1 kg wheat bread flour
\n* 1 kg Rye flour
\n* 4.5 teaspoons of salt
\n* 4 teaspoons of bread spice
\n* 1350 g lukewarm water
\n* 1 cube of yeast<\/p>\n

Preparation:<\/strong>
\nCarefully weigh all the ingredients. Put the flour, salt, bread spice , and yeast in a bowl. Then add the liquid and knead everything into a medium-hard dough. Then cover it and let the dough sit for about 40 minutes. Then divide into four parts, knead each again well and shape into loaves. Briefly let the loaves sit on the baking sheet. In the meantime, preheat the oven to 210 degrees (convection). Sprinkle the loaves with water and possibly sieve over with some rye flour.
