Thorsten and Marius know pretty much everything about sleeping outside and long marches over many high-altitude metres. These two are passionate mountain walkers and allow the readers of their blog, Best Mountain Artists<\/a>, to participate in their victories and defeats in nature. They both know Saalfelden-Leogang very well even though they live near the city of Frankfurt.<\/p>\n

Their special affection for SalzburgerLand goes so far that Marius has a Salzburg Super Ski Card<\/a> and in the winter, whenever possible, skis not only up on the mountains but also down into the valley. In summer however, skiing is not so much fun. That is why the two outdoor freaks laced up their hiking boots and with Markus the Mountain Guide stopped off at the Passauer Hut in Leogang.<\/p>\n

Between corners and edges<\/h2>\n

Between mid-June and mid-October, it\u2019s especially fun to hike to the Passauer Hut in the Leogang Steinberge. During this period, the hut is in full operation and after over four hours of hiking, a cool beer was waiting to reward the two bloggers.<\/p>\n

Thorsten and Marius are accustomed to multi-day hikes. In their backpacks the German bloggers have everything they need to survive: coffee machine, tent and cameras. Also on the way to the Passauer Hut, the two shot countless photos that they displayed on their blog and Instagram channel<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The two found this tour to the Passauer Hut to be very diverse. The start runs along a serpentine path through a lush green meadow. One gets closer and closer to the forest, and on exiting it you finally get to enjoy views of the jagged edges of the Steinberg Mountains. You should definitely not be afraid of heights here as in some places the drop is pretty far.<\/p>\n

Via ferrata lovers will love the trail to the Passauer Hut<\/a>. Shortly before the hut you have the possibility of extending your tour across two fixed rope routes \u2013 the \u201cLeogang South\u201d and the \u201cLeogang North\u201d offer routes in difficulties of B to D, and invite you to really get sweating again shortly before the finish line.<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t
