Under the motto \u201c\u201dWood is Life, Myth and Nature\u201d Kuchl has become the town of wood. Great significance is attributed to wood as a material. The timber professionals of the future are trained here in many educational institutions and schools. Every three years, the town of Kuchl<\/a> celebrates its own Wood Festival.
\n<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Works of art are also created at the Bio-Hofk\u00e4serei F\u00fcrstenhof\u00a0<\/a>\u2013 but these are culinary works. Niki Rettenbacher is known for his first-class cheese and dairy, a purely natural product made of high-quality organic raw milk. His organic cheese dairy is home to not only a well-stocked farm shop. Visitors can also try their hand at being a Salzburger Alpine summer cheese-maker and then take home their own handmade cheese.

For sporting activities, the mountains in and around Kuchl are ideal. Whether in winter for skiing and sledding, or for hiking in summer.
\nOn warm days, a leap into the Kuchler B\u00fcrgerausee lake refreshes. Further attractions such as slack-lining, a beach volleyball court, skate park, and Kneipp bath<\/a> round off the B\u00fcrgerausee recreation area.<\/p>\n
