Winter in the Gro\u00dfarl Valley<\/h2>\n

Nestled between the Hohe and Niedere Tauern, the Gro\u00dfarltal<\/a> \u2014known as the \u201cValley of Mountain Pastures\u201d with its idyllic villages of H\u00fcttschlag and Gro\u00dfarl\u2014offers 70 kilometres of varied slopes in the heart of Ski Amad\u00e9<\/a>. Once the snow arrives, winter sports enthusiasts can enjoy almost limitless fun, from wide family-friendly runs and challenging freeride terrain to a fun park perfect for young skiers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n

Grossarltal, also linked by lift to the slopes of Dorfgastein, offers skiing and nature enjoyment for the whole family. For the winter of 2023\/24, huge investments have been made in a new 10-seater gondola lift, additional pistes, a unique summit restaurant, and extensive ecological measures.<\/p>\n

The new, state-of-the-art 10-seater \u201cKieserl\u201d gondola lift runs from the valley via a middle station, ascending over 1,000 vertical meters directly to the Kieserl summit plateau (1,954 m) in just 15 minutes. It serves as your gateway to the wonderfully snowy slopes of the Roslehenalm ski area on the Grossarltal side. There is also a new direct ski link from Kieserl to Dorfgastein, bringing the two communities of Grossarl and Dorfgastein even closer together. It is now easier than ever to switch back and forth \u2013 and essentially go \u201cvalley hopping\u201d.<\/p>\n

The crowning glory of this particular lift is the summit restaurant WOLKE7, located on the upper floor of the mountain station with a large sun terrace and unique 360\u00b0 panoramic views.<\/p>\n

Gro\u00dfarltal Kieserlbahn \u00a9 Lorenz Masser<\/p><\/div>\n

A special treat awaits all early birds with the \u201cSkikeriki<\/a>\u201c, where you can carve your lines in the fresh snow on the slopes at sunrise and afterwards enjoy the \u2018Pamper Breakfast\u2019 with regional delicacies on the mountain.<\/p>\n

Ski tots find their adventure in the new Fischbacher adventure place. Accompanied by the mascot, \u201cRucki-Zucki\u201d, they can toboggan, ski, slide on the bobsleigh and race around fun obstacles. For guests of the Grossarl Valley, use of the adventure meadow is free of charge.<\/p>\n

Even away from the slopes, you can recharge your batteries while walking, cross-country skiing, tobogganing, touring and snowshoe hiking.
