In addition, a visit to the world famous \u201cWhite Horse Inn\u201d is a must, the backdrop of one of the most successful operetta of all time \u2013 the well-known \u201cIn the White Horse Inn on Lake Wolfgang\u201d.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Schafberg Railway \u2013 St. Wolfgang from above<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>From<a href=\"https:\/\/wolfgangsee.salzkammergut.at\/en\/summer.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> St. Wolfgang<\/a> a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salzburg-bahnen.at\/en\/schafbergbahn.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cog railway <\/a>leads up onto the 1,783m high Schafberg. It is the steepest steam Cog Railway in Austria and covers a distance of 6km in approximately 35 minutes.
