All year round, Zederhaus invites you to active recreation in the surrounding mountains. Visitors from all over the world are enchanted by the living folk culture.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Zederhaus in Summer<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The magnificent mountains of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salzburgerland.com\/de\/magazin\/unesco-biosphaerenpark-salzburger-lungau\/\">Nature Park Community<\/a> of Zederhaus offer, with their tranquillity, the chance to relax and refuel. The <strong>Riedingtal Zederhaus Nature Park<\/strong> is a hiking paradise with crystal clear mountain lakes, wild Karen, high peaks, but also gentle valleys and farmed mountain pastures<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Attractions in Zederhaus<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.denkmalhof-maurergut.at\/\"><strong>Maurergut<\/strong><\/a> Monument<\/li>\n<li>The forest nature trail<\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.denkmalhof-maurergut.at\/\">Mill trail on the Dorfbach<\/a><\/li>\n<li>A true gem of folk culture is the annual <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salzburgerland.com\/de\/magazin\/die-zederhauser-prangstangen-ein-bluhender-logenplatz\/\">Prangstangen procession<\/a> on 24. June (Johannes). Up to 80kg heavy and 8m high rods are decorated over and over with individual flowers and carried with great pride through the community. They can be admired in the Zederhaus church until the 15th August.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Zederhaus in Winter<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The Riedingtal Nature Park is known as a paradise for ski tourers in winter. For every level, there is the perfect tour in the snow covered landscape with more than 50 tours waiting to be discovered. Free shuttle buses drive to the surrounding ski areas of the Salzburg Lungau region, while more than 150km of slopes are waiting for<a href=\"https:\/\/www.salzburgerland.com\/de\/magazin\/pistentipps-fuer-skizwerge\/\"> families<\/a>, beginners and professionals. Cross-country skiers can explore the wintery Riedingtal on the approximately 6km long cross-country ski trail.
