Situated at 633 metres above sea level, Saint Martin near Lofer promises mountain flair that you can discover on a hike. On the way up you shouldn\u2019t miss a break at the pilgrimage church Maria Kirchental. Whether in the valley or on the way to the peaks of the Lofer Steinberge, everyone will find a moving offer for sporting activities and relaxation in pilgrimage and Kneipp cure, hiking and mountaineering, climbing or mountain biking. On hot days, the Vorderkaser natural swimming area attracts visitors with its cool bathing lakes and play facilities for the whole family. Who is the captain on one of the wooden rafts, who builds the highest stone man on one of the gravel banks in the middle of the river and who even dares to jump into the cool water? On the Stone Age Adventure Trail, which leads along the natural bathing area to the Vorderkaserklamm<\/a> gorge, you not only learn interesting things from the Stone Age, children can really let off steam on 6 play stations. At the end of the adventure trail you can also visit the Vorderkaserklamm, one of the most beautiful natural forces of the Salzburg Saalach Valley. Also very impressive, also one of these forces and not depending on the weather, is the Lamprechtsh\u00f6hle<\/a>, not far from the entrance to the gorge. With its 35 kilometres it is the longest passage cave in the world and a guided tour with one of the guides will let you dive into a completely different world.<\/p>\n
