Today\u2019s municipal area was already settled in the Neolithic age, the village was mentioned in written documents around the year 1000 for the first time and in 1858, the former \u2018Viktoriat\u2019 Hallwang was raised to a parish. Even today, this church town is fairly active. A few years ago, a Psalms Path was created within this initiative. This path leads from the Church across Ischlerbahn Street and past picturesque chapels as a circular route through the town. The path is lined with Psalms which are placed along the route on beautiful stone blocks of marble, slate or conglomerate.
\n<\/a><\/span>The parish church itself is also worth taking a look inside. A church guide just for children invites younger visitors to experience the depths of the church in a playful way.<\/p>\n

Also worth a visit in Hallwang is the S\u00f6llheim Castle, a baroque palace which is privately owned. Right next to it are the Antonius Chapel and the former sexton\u2019s house in which the Pfefferschiff Restaurant<\/a> serves up its culinary delights.
\n<\/a><\/span>In addition, Hallwang is a sports community. The Tennis Club is one of the venues, amongst others, of the ITN Tennis Tournament.<\/p>\n

Hallwang<\/a> is ideally located just a few kilometers from the Salzburg.<\/p>\n
