The L1 + L2 Asitzbahn or the L3 + L4 Steinbergbahn take all bikers to the start of the park, where various lines & trails lead into the valley. In the Epic Bikepark Leogang, which is one of the most renowned in Europe, beginners of all ages can learn in the so-called Riders Playground how best to steer their bike over trails, stones and roots on the mountain. \u00a0Since 2020, Saalfelden Leogang, together with Saalbach Hinterglemm and Fieberbrunn, has been Austria\u2019s largest biking region. As in winter through the Skicircus, Saalfelden Leogang, Saalbach Hinterglemm and Fieberbrunn are now growing together in summer. The trails of Saalbach Hinterglemm are only a stone\u2019s throw away from the Bikepark Leogang: a total of seven mountains, nine mountain railways and over 70 kilometres of lines & trails are waiting to be discovered by bike.<\/p>\n
Numerous international bike events attract thousands of bike fans and professional riders to Asitz every year. With the successful 2012 World Championships and the World Cup competitions in recent years, Saalfelden Leogang has made a name for itself in international cycling. In 2020, Austria\u2019s mountain bike Mecca will again host a major sporting event: From 7 to 11 October 2020 the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships will take place. The title decisions in the disciplines downhill, Olympic cross-country, E-MTB and pump track will be taken.
