This idyllic town is located in the border triangle between Salzburg, Styria and Carinthia. Located directly on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salzburgerland.com\/de\/magazin\/der-murtalradweg-und-die-murtalbahn\/\">Murradweg <\/a>this friendly community is an ideal starting point for pleasant cycling tours, long walks and mountain tours for every taste. Very nice but also creepy is the Castle Finstergr\u00fcn and a visit to the Ezrwege in Ramingstein is particularly exciting.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Insider tips in Ramingstein:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Caution Ghost: <\/strong>the Castle Finstergr\u00fcn is the landmark of the Ramingstein resort. A visit to the three castle courtyards allows a panoramic view of the Mur Valley. On the Castle, which can be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salzburgerland.com\/de\/magazin\/von-der-alten-grenzburg-zur-modernen-jugendherberge\/\">booked as accommodation<\/a>, weddings and events regularly take place. The Castle Ghost \u201cFinsterling\u201d is not disturbed by all this.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>A Railway ride for the whole family: <\/strong>the historic Mur Valley Railway is a real experience \u2013 at a leisurely pace it has taken guests on a ride through the Lungau since 1894.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Shining tour: <\/strong>the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salzburgerland.com\/de\/magazin\/silberbergwerk-ramingstein\/\">Ramingstein Silver Mine<\/a> is the only still accessible mine in the Lungau region. Here silver was mined up until 200 years ago. Today, guided tours are held in the mine upon registration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>In the footsteps of the Ore: <\/strong>From the 15th to the 18th Century this community was known for its mining.
