And the lifts terminate right in the center of town. Soaring emotions are guaranteed by days of skiing between the majestic Hochk\u00f6nig peaks, as they are by nighttime sledding expeditions down floodlit toboggan runs. The K\u00f6nigstour in the Hochk\u00f6nig ski area is a backcountry ski tour that bears comparison with the best-of-the-best, including the Sella Ronda and the Weisser Ring. Five peaks, 32 non-stop kilometers of pistes and 6700 m in elevation make this ski tour an imposing experience indeed.
