In winter Piesendorf is THE ideal holiday resort for all those who dream of spending their holidays in a real village in the Alps, but do not want to miss the big ski destinations. Zell am See-Kaprun is only a stone\u2019s throw away from our neighbouring villages, Saalbach Hinterglemm and Kitzb\u00fchel. The extensive network of the \u201cPinzga-Loipe\u201d cross-country ski run offers an Eldorado for cross-country skiers, because directly from the centre of the village you can start the classic and skating tracks. In the district of Walchen there is a striking hill with a beautiful summit plateau: the \u201cErlebnisberg Naglk\u00f6pfl\u201d with ski lift and numerous winter sports possibilities in the XXL-Fun Faktor. Next to the practice lift, many trendy sports, such as SnowTubing and Zipfelbob, await children, young people and parents.<\/p>\n
Hiking tip<\/h2>\n
The certified Panorama Trail is just the thing for the sporty inquisitive: the starting point of the circular walk is the Hiking Info Point. From there you follow the hiking trail to Hauserberg, through the gorge and on to Entfelden. From here you walk along the Kulturlandschaftsweg back to the starting point. During the circular walk you will pass a total of 10 display boards, which offer you insights from the formation of the Hohe Tauern to forestry work in the past and present.<\/p>\n
