Mountains and lakes are transformed into a dream of white. From the bizarre limestone massifs of the Dachstein, Totes Gebirge, Sengsen and H\u00f6llengebirge mountains to the idyllic Salzkammergut lakes, the landscape is now dominated by glistening white and gleaming ice. Skiing, cross-country skiing, horse-drawn sleigh rides, ice skating, tobogganing and ski tours \u2013 the choice of options is impressive.
