Mit seiner halbrunden Form und seiner steil abfallenden Nordwand ist er so gut wie von fast allen Gipfeln im Gro\u00dfarltal und weit dar\u00fcber hinaus zu sehen ist. Das Panorama vom Draugstein ist atemberaubend.\u00a0 Einmal um die eigene Achse gedreht, hat man bei entsprechender Fernsicht das Gef\u00fchl, wohl halb \u00d6sterreich zu \u00fcberblicken. Bischofsm\u00fctze, Dachstein, Radst\u00e4dter Tauern, Ankogelgruppe mit Hochalmspitz \/ Keeskogel \/ Ankogel, Sonnblick, Gro\u00dfglockner, Wiesbachhorn, Kitzsteinhorn, Wilder Kaiser, Hochk\u00f6nig, Tennen- &amp; Hagengebirge &#8211; das sind die wichtigsten Gebirgsz\u00fcge, die man von dort erblickt.<\/p>\n<p>Der Aufstieg erfolgt entweder von Gro\u00dfarl aus \u00fcber das Ellmautal &#8211; von Grundlehen \u00fcber die Filzmoosalm (1.710 m) oder von H\u00fcttschlag \u00fcber die beiden Draugsteinalmen (1.778 m). Am Filzmoossattel (2.062 m) treffen sich die beiden Wege (Gehzeit bis hierhin jeweils ca.\u00a0 2 1\/2 Stunden). Hier sollte man unbedingt einen kurzen Abstecher (5 min.) auf die Filzmoosh\u00f6he (2.106 m) machen, um das dortige &#8222;Strahlenkreuz&#8220; zu bewundern. Vom Filzmoossattel sind es noch knapp 300 H\u00f6henmeter hinauf auf den Gipfel des Draugsteins. In Anbetracht des relativ steilen Weges schafft man diese jedoch in nur ca. 30 &#8211; 40 Minuten. Das letzte St\u00fcck zum Gipfel ist etwas ausgesetzt. Vorsicht ist also geboten. Die M\u00fchen des Aufstieges werden durch das bereits erw\u00e4hnte Panorama entsch\u00e4digt. Der Draugstein l\u00e4sst sich auch ideal zu anderen Wanderzielen im Ellmautal wie etwa dem Filzmoosh\u00f6rndl oder den zahlreichen weiteren Almen (Loosb\u00fchelalm, Wei\u00dfalm, Ellmaualm) kombinieren. F\u00fcr Wanderer am <a title=\"Salzburger Almenweg, weitwandern, trekking, Pongau\" href=\"https:\/\/www.salzburgerland.com\/de\/salzburger-almenweg\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Salzburger Almenweg<\/a>, der hier \u00fcber den Filzmoossattel vorbeif\u00fchrt, ist er oftmals willkommener H\u00f6hepunkt f\u00fcr einen Gipfelsieg.
