Salzburg's Harvest Festival
The Flavor of Salzburg
"The Flavor of Salzburg" is the motto of Harvest Festival 2009:
Salzburg's culinary regions serve up such delicious treats as Salzkammergut Whitefish, the "Lungauer Eachtling" (a very delicate potato) and Tennengau Hill Cheese.
"Just the thought of it makes your mouth water!" – and seemingly everywhere you go: at farmhouses and high pastures, at farmers' markets, in friendly country inns and at internationally acclaimed gourmet restaurants.

As the temperatures begin to get a little cooler, our taste buds deserve something special: a juicy roast, flavorful hill-country cheeses and, to warm your cockles, a sip of home-distilled schnapps.
