| In the farming community, work and festivities have long been closely intertwined. |

|
And so it is that at certain times of year - such as during autumn harvest - though there's lots of work to be done, there are also countless occasions for celebration. Authentic folk music is played at traditional country dances. And at town fairs, the men and women of Salzburg proudly don their folk costumes.
And no matter where Harvest Festival is celebrated, visitors are always welcomed with open arms. Both as spectators and - when the occasion permits - as active participants! |
