Hallein's cultural forum (the "Kulturforum"), with its event rooms at the Zieglstadl, Salzberghalle, the Salinenkapelle chapel, the Verdampferturm, city theatre and cinema, along with the Pernerinsel, offers the culture-focused visitor some 160 projects and productions annually.

Highlights of the community cultural events organized by the Kulturforum include these events series: the "Young Salzburg Musicians" festival, Hallein City Festival Week, the Bad Dürrnberg Concerts and the Hallein "Autumn of Culture" .
