Offering some 25 events spread over a ten-day period, this musical festival, set against the wintry backdrop of Salzburg, has developed over the last 50 years into one of the most important of its kind in all of Europe.

Every year during Mozart Week, visitors are able to experience leading international conductors, soloists, singers, orchestras and ensembles: concerts by the Vienna Philharmonic, by an Orchestra in Residence, by the Camerata Salzburg, the Salzburg Mozarteum Orchestra and guest orchestras, are interspersed with top-notch concerts featuring chamber music and solo performances.

The list of musicians who have appeared during Mozart Week, reads like a veritable "Who's Who" of the international concert world - which, indeed, it is.
