Our beautiful peaks can be reached either by climbing routes or on the mountain lifts. On the Schmittenhöhe, hiking paths aimed squarely at the kids are fun for the whole family. The top, the 3,203 metre-high Kitzsteinhorn, the site of the famous glacier ski area, along with the Schmittenhöhe, located 1200 metres below, offer one-of-a-kind views of the entire region. Thirty 3,000-metre peaks make for a truly imposing sight. The undisputed No.1 amongst all of these mountains is the Grossglockner, sitting in the center of the Hohe Tauern National Park and very close to the Kitzsteinhorn.
