On Thursday, short rain and snow showers will fall repeatedly from dense clouds. The snow line may be 600 m and below in the morning, but will then rise to 800 to 1000 m. In the course of the afternoon it may clear up a little, but showers will continue to form. In Lungau it will remain mostly dry with a noticeable northerly foehn, otherwise the wind will be weak to moderate. Early temperatures: -2 to 3 degrees. Highs: 4 to 8 degrees.

Friday will be temporarily drier, in the morning there may still be large gaps in the clouds. There will be some high fog in the valleys, but this will soon clear. Thick clouds will move in from the west, but it will remain mainly dry until midday. A few showers will develop again in the afternoon, with the snow line at around 800 to 1000 meters. The wind will shift to the west and reach speeds of around 50 km/h in Flachgau. Lows: -3 to 2 degrees, highs: 6 to 9 degrees.

On Saturday, it will rain or snow frequently, especially in the northern slopes, with less precipitation in the inner Alps. In Lungau there will be very little overall, and it will also clear up briefly here. The snow line will be 600 m and below in the morning and 700 to 900 m during the day. The wind will be brisk in Flachgau with gusts of around 50 km/h, shifting from west to north as the day progresses. Lows: -2 to 3 degrees, highs: 3 to 6 degrees.

The unsettled and cool April weather will continue on Sunday. Thick clouds, brief clearings and light showers will alternate. The snow line will be in the valleys. The cold northerly wind will be mostly weak to moderate, with a brisk northerly foehn in Lungau. Lows: -2 to 2 degrees, highs: 3 to 7 degrees.
